P3 Intermediate Paragliding Pilot Course

You completed P2 — now it's time to become a real pilot! The P3 Intermediate Course teaches you soaring techniques, thermal catching, and basic emergency recovery. This course transforms you from a 'flying passenger' into a 'flying pilot'.

Course Details

Requirements

• P2 Beginner Pilot Certificate
• Minimum age 16
• Medically fit to fly

What You Will Learn

• Minimum 60 supervised flights
• 12 hours total flight time (min 6 hours soaring + 1 hour thermal)
• 360° turns with brakes, without brakes, and by weight shift
• Speed system and ear-folding techniques
• Maximum wind limit: 30 km/h
• Basic emergency recovery maneuvers

Upon Completion

• THK Paragliding Certificate
• Intermediate Pilot License
• Soaring and thermal flight skills
• Eligibility for the P4 Advanced Pilot Course
